don’t (f) stop believing get-together // photographer night shoot
To say I’ve learned a great deal of information from Jasmine Star on Creative Live and at the Fix would be an understatement. I have the notebooks full of information to prove it. But if our paths cross again, it’s not the information I will thank her for, but the opportunities these events have provided to connect and become friends with other photographers.
On Friday night, a group of 12 bay area photographers got together for dinner at Farmer Brown (one of my favorite restaurants) and experimented with off-camera flash in Union Square. And not only did we learn a lot, thanks to Joseph Pascua, who shared a wealth of knowledge, but more importantly, we had FUN! It was so nice to be in a group of photographers of varying experiences with absolutely no judgement. We all came with an open mind to learn and enjoy ourselves.

By the way, our models are also photographers. But they agreed to get in front of the camera for us this time. Didn’t they do an awesome job?!
I can’t wait for the next get-together!
