I met Kate and Karyne for the first time over boba tea and crazy lookin’ waffles. Those first meetings with clients can sometimes feel like blind dates, but as we talked all about their Northern California elopement plans, there was an ease in our communication… a comfort that felt more like old friends than new ones. And by the end of our “blind date,” I got the sense that Kate and Karyne not only wanted to hire me for my art, but also because of who I am as a person, which meant more to me than anything!

A few months later, on one of the hottest days of the year for San Francisco, the three of us had a blast shooting their engagement session around the Mission and Noe Valley, followed by an amazing sushi dinner that I still dream about today.
